The Islamic Society of Guelph is a non-profit organization that was established to help accommodate the growing Muslim community in Guelph and surrounding area. This is a project that has been in progress for the last 10 years. It took a lot of collaboration with the local Muslim population and city officials to finally call 126 Norwich St E. our new home. Thanks to everyone who donated and volunteered to make this possible, and through the will of Allah our dreams have become a reality.
Est. 1856 for a group of Scottish Congregationalists, and is the 2nd oldest of Guelph’s eleven remaining stone churches. Converted to a Mosque in 2008.
